The first ever project that started Selena's coding journey, 'The
Shelf Perspective' is a static landing page showing the basic tenets
of biulding a website. The page features a book review of one of
Selena's most favourite books growing up. Basic elements commonly
found in many commercial websites are peppered throughout the page,
showcasing foundational knowledge expected of an aspiring front-end
developer. Keep an eye out for the simple, secret message hidden
within the content of the review. Note: the mailing list function is
for display purposes only. In no way is the site collecting your age
or email.

The Weather website, able to tell the current weather conditions and
temperature of either your current location or a city of your
choosing, is an interactive website showcasing the progression of
Selena's coding journey. Also showing real-time data, the website
features the weather forecast of the selected city over the next
five days. Additional features include humidity and wind-speed data
and the times of the sunrise and sunset. All times featured are
local times according to the timezone region of the user - not the
timezone of the searched city. Still early in Selena's coding
experience, the website has yet to be updated to a responsive
version. Hopefully in the near future, the website will be
accessible on handheld devices.
